1. The Icona macOS app
Icona does not collect personal data from the macOS app. Your imported assets, metadata, brands, collections, notes, previews, backups, and recovery files remain on your Mac or in locations you choose.
Icona does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or product analytics. It does not require an Icona account.
2. Purchases through Apple
When you purchase or restore Icona Premium through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the transaction under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Icona receives only the StoreKit information needed to determine whether Premium access is active. Icona does not receive your full payment-card details.
StoreKit entitlement information may be cached securely on your Mac so Icona can provide limited offline access and restore your purchase state.
3. Files you choose to open or export
Icona accesses only files and folders you select or create through macOS controls and Icona workflows. Those files are used to provide features such as import, preview, editing, backup, migration, recovery, and export. Icona does not upload your creative library to an Icona cloud service.
4. The Icona website and waitlist
The website is separate from the macOS app. If you join the waitlist, the website stores the email address you submit and the date and time of subscription so launch or early-access updates can be delivered and duplicate registrations can be prevented.
Do not use the waitlist form to send confidential information. Server and hosting providers may also process routine technical data, such as IP address, browser information, and security logs, as needed to deliver and protect the website.
5. Retention and choices
Waitlist information is retained while the waitlist or related launch communication remains active, unless you request removal sooner. To ask whether your email is on the waitlist, correct it, or request deletion, contact messageme@husseinakl.com.
6. Children
Icona is a professional creative utility and is not directed to children. The website does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.
7. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when Icona’s features, distribution channels, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
