1. Agreement and Apple’s license terms
By downloading, purchasing, or using Icona, you agree to these terms and the applicable store terms. The Mac App Store edition is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These Icona terms supplement that agreement; if they conflict, Apple’s applicable terms control for the Mac App Store edition.
2. License and permitted use
Icona is licensed, not sold. You may use it to organize, review, edit, back up, and export visual assets that you own or are authorized to use. You may not redistribute Icona itself, circumvent its access controls, resell access to it, or use it unlawfully.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the assets and metadata you place in Icona. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to those materials and for maintaining independent backups. Do not use Icona to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other rights.
4. Premium purchases
Subscriptions
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Prices, currency, taxes, eligibility, and renewal terms are displayed by Apple before purchase and may vary by storefront.
Free trials
An eligible customer may receive one introductory trial within the Icona Premium subscription group. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected subscription begins and renews at its displayed price.
Lifetime purchase
The lifetime option is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Premium features included with that product for the supported lifetime of the purchased edition. It is not a promise that every future product, separate service, or major successor product will be included.
Apple handles App Store billing, refunds, subscription management, and purchase records under its policies.
5. Availability and updates
Icona may be updated to improve features, compatibility, safety, or reliability. Features may change as the product evolves. Continued availability can depend on macOS, Apple services, hardware compatibility, and other systems outside Icona’s control.
6. Local data and backups
Icona is local-first. You are responsible for protecting your Mac, choosing appropriate storage locations, and keeping verified independent backups. Recovery tools reduce risk but do not guarantee that every file can be restored after hardware failure, deletion, corruption, or unsupported modification.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Icona is provided without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
